Code of
Conduct
The Colorado Springs Flames Football Club is dedicated to
promoting the sport of football as a viable, respectable
forum of family and community entertainment in the city of
Colorado Springs. The club aspires to the goal of providing
the Colorado Football Conference a venue of good
sportsmanship, disciplined competition and standards of
moral behavior. Anyone participating as a member of the
Flames organization will be expected to meet the standards
associated with the accountability and responsibilities set
forth in this code of conduct.
The Code
-
-Club members are forbidden from participation in any
sponsored activity while under the influence of alcohol
or drugs.
-
-The use of profanity and or obscene gestures is
prohibited by any club member during sanctioned
activities.
-
Club members are prohibited from any participation in
any of the organization activities if dues, fines or
other financial obligations are owed to the team or the
conference.
-
-Players will be required to attend al least one (1)
weekly practice before being allowed to participate in
weekend scheduled contests. This rule will be at
the discretion of the coaching staff.
-
-It shall be the sole discretion of the Flames coaching
staff to administer discipline for team infractions. Any
acts of decent or objectionable demonstrations for these
decisions will result In suspension or expulsion from
the team.

-Fighting, taunting or verbal attacks on another is
expressly forbidden and are subject to team suspension
or expulsion at the coaches discretion.
-
-No items of clothing or special apparel wear will be
allowed to be worn during a game without the expressed
consent of the Flames organization.
-
-Players are forbidden from allowing or encouraging any
family, friends or associate members access to the
playing field areas during a game.
-
-Players must return any and all Flames owned equipment
which are issued or loaned for the purpose of practice
or game conditions. --Failure to do so will result in a
fine or charges of theft filed with the local police
department.
-
-Violations of the following infractions will result in
an automatic dismissal from the team:
-
* Fighting or threaten any member of the coaching staff
or administrative members.
-
* Leaving the football field and team during a game.
-
* Objectionable dissent or demeanor against the team
(bad mouthing the team to any extent)
-
* Any type of fighting or threats involving an
official, spectators or other community figure before,
during or after a game or practice.
A team is as strong as its weakest link. A display of
misconduct by any club member is a weak link in the
organizations chain and must be discarded.
